The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is dedicated to preserving and optimizing human life through education, research, and patient care. Established in 1824 in Charleston, MUSC stands as South Carolina’s only comprehensive academic health system and is also recognized as one of the nation’s leading academic health science centers. Every year, MUSC trains over 3,100 students across six colleges: Medicine, Dental Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Professions, and Graduate Studies.
