Finance Accountant

Marshmallow is seeking a Finance Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities for their Hungarian entity. The role involves managing financial operations, independent month-end closing, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance, local expertise in Hungarian GAAP and local tax regulations, and strong technical skills in Excel and ERP systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Relevant Bachelor's degree
• Local expertise in Hungarian GAAP and local tax regulations (VAT, CIT, INNOV, Local business tax)
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP experience (NetSuite is a plus)
• Ability to solve complex finance requests through data analysis
• Strong English language skills
• Experience in financial services or insurance is an advantage
