Senior Account Executive
What can you expect?
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Account Executive to join Marsh in Adelaide. Working within the Corporate and Commercial team, you will be responsible for providing superior customer service to a portfolio of clients across a range of different industries. Additionally, you may also be required to assist senior members of the broking team with management of key clients, including managing and developing client relationships, acting as the client's trusted advisor, and expanding and diversifying the mix of Marsh products and services the client holds.

We will count on you to:
Take a pro-active approach to account management, ensuring that a high degree of quality customer service is provided at all times
Possess and apply a thorough understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs to ensure that our services and programs continue to meet with their needs and expectations
Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers
Lead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies, ensuring renewal process and results meet client expectations
Create quality underwriting submissions and effectively negotiate with insurers and other stakeholders
Maintain an awareness of all large and potentially complicated claim-related matters, and assist claims personnel in the negotiation of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients
Engage with and manage all internal stakeholders in delivering ‘all of Marsh’ to your client base
Contribute towards achieving Divisional and Team business plans and objectives
We would like you to have:
Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
3+ years’ experience in an insurance broking role
Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, and insurance products and services. These apply to general insurance products and services
Demonstrated focus on providing outstanding customer service
Excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients
Excellent working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners
Exceptional communication, influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of client organisations including the ‘C’ Suite, as well as internal Marsh stakeholders
Awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory, and social factors affecting clients’ operations and business
