We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Lisbon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
- Proactively identify and engage potential clients through strategic outreach methods, including cold calling, on-site client visits, and participation in networking events;
- Develop and implement prospective strategies to create new business;
- Work together with the Account Manager to offer tailored insurance solutions to meet client objectives;
- Generate and follow up Leads in order to better penetrate the market and also explore new market segments;
- Present yourself as One Enterprise and work alongside all lines of businesses from Marsh and Mercer, creating and leveraging opportunities for the insurance, pensions, investments, benefits, human resources and risk sectors;
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals;
- Stay updated on the company’s product and service offerings, effectively communicating their value to potential and existing clients.
What you need to have:
- Degree in Management, Economics, Marketing or similar;
- Proven experience in a sales or commercial role, preferably within the insurance sector;
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets;
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools;
- English and Portuguese language proficiency;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft tools, PowerPoint and Excel (mainly);
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
