PMO Analyst
Manchester / Stoke / Peterborough – Remote with minimal travel
We’re looking for an experienced PMO Analyst to join our Distribution Change Team, playing a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with organisational standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks. You’ll work across a busy portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Your Role Will Include:
- Monitoring adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) across multiple concurrent projects.
- Conducting regular health checks, compliance assessments, and quality reviews of project deliverables.
- Ensuring projects meet governance standards, including financial management, resource planning, and reporting accuracy.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues before they impact delivery.
- Presenting findings and improvement proposals to senior leadership.
- Acting as the central point of contact between project teams and leadership – ensuring clear communication and expectations.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of the internal Change Framework by feeding into the Centre of Excellence.
- Advocating and enforcing standards across diverse project teams, helping deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Strong experience working across multiple, simultaneous projects in a PMO or project assurance role.
- In-depth knowledge of change and project delivery frameworks and lifecycle best practices.
- Hands-on experience with PPM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA, MS Project).
- Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from delivery teams to leadership.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a clear analytical mindset.
- A passion for continuous improvement, risk management, and quality assurance.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow, JIRA, and Microsoft Project
- Familiar with risk and issue tracking tools and methodologies
