The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is in the midst of a wholescale transformation effort aimed at delivering a force that is ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. DAF is transforming elements of all phases of its human resource management (HRM) life cycle to meet their people's demands.

ManTech will ensure that the DAF’s business processes and supporting information technology platforms fully empower DAF personnel and Guardians to maximize their abilities. Your work on the DTD team will help transform data and enterprise architectures, consolidate and modernize platforms, and integrate AI into human capital business processes.

Currently, ManTech is seeking experienced, motivated, career and customer-oriented Portfolio Governance Strategy and Process Specialists to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with the ability to travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Works on team of Business Consultants to ensure customers quickly and efficiently adapt to various change initiatives and projects by creating written communications on behalf of project and organization leadership

  • Supports efforts to communicate changes, along with the ways to reduce impact

  • Coordinates with Organizational Change Management and Training teams to create documents helping customer leadership implement various practices that would make transition easier on employees

  • Creates and maintains advertisements for various organization programs using websites and social media platforms

  • Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Drive strategic transformational business communications in support of a technology function

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Computer Science

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in supporting PMO processes, portfolio and/or project management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and analytical skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong presentation skills a plus

  • Ability to work independently, yet collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with agile methodology and cloud-based tools such as ServiceNow or Jira

  • Prior U.S. military experience through military service or spouse/domestic partner

  • Strong customer focus, navigating from problem to resolution

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
