The Department of the Air Force (DAF) is in the midst of a wholescale transformation effort aimed at delivering a force that is ready to meet the challenges of the 21st century. DAF is transforming elements of all phases of its human resource management (HRM) life cycle to meet their people demands.
ManTech will ensure that the DAF’s business processes and supporting information technology platforms fully empower DAF personnel and Guardians to maximize their abilities. Your work on the DTD team will help transform data and enterprise architectures, consolidate and modernize platforms, and integrate AI into human capital business processes.
Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data Analyst- Data Analytics to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Data Analyst is responsible for migrating large number of existing Tableau reports and dashboards and build using Power BI reporting tool
Performs data validation of the reports using MS Excel, MS Access, and other internal systems
Responsible for upgrading the existing reports for automation and performance improvement
Ability to document reports execution and validation procedures
Evaluates and recommends improvements to the current reports
Closely work with the reports end-users by providing/facilitating necessary training, support, and troubleshooting
Collects user input regarding reports functionality and explores feasibility of potential improvements/enhancements to the reports
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
Must have 5+ years of experience in creating reports, dashboards, and data visualization using Microsoft Power BI
Must have expertise with ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of Power BI-driven reporting, including query tuning
Strong MS Excel skills including formula building, pivot tables etc
Understanding of SQL or similar database tools
Experience presenting dashboards and quantitative data to stakeholders and leadership
Ability to work well independently and follow detailed instructions for completing tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities or tasks
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a US Citizenship and able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time with occasional travel.
