ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, is seeking for a Web Developer - OpenCart.
📌 Location: Athens – Thessaloniki City Center
📍 Working Model: Hybrid OR Fully Remote (you need to be based in Greece and holder of a valid EU Work Permit).
🖋️ You will be reporting to: Head of Development
What you will do:
You will be part of a Web Development team and you will be asked to implement the project either alone or in a team of developers.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Building exceptional Websites using CMS OpenCart
- Building custom functionality (Theme / Plugin) using PHP
- Providing support for existing websites
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (AEI/ATEI/IEK) in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of development experience in OpenCart
- 1+ year of development experience in Digital Marketing Agency
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Familiarity with SQL and their declarative query languages
- Knowledge of Web services (REST SOAP / XML) APIs, Integration with ERP
- Good knowledge of Front-End technologies, including HTML(5), CSS(3), JavaScript, jQuery
- Knowledge of Server Panel (Plesk, cPanel), DNS Zone
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
