We are now looking for a Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer to join our team. Our Gaming Electrical Engineering team spreads worldwide, both in Europe and Asia, and focuses on the design of gaming peripherals including keyboards, mice, wheels, joysticks and more.

Maintaining our Logitech G brand products - Gaming keyboards, mice, controllers and steering wheels.
Cost Reduction & Value Engineering: Identify, analyze, and implement cost-down opportunities in existing product designs (Bill of Materials, PCBA, assembly processes) without compromising performance or quality.
Second Source Qualification & Obsolescence Management: Strategically identify, qualify, and validate alternate (2nd source) electronic components and suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks, address component obsolescence, and achieve cost savings.
Failure Analysis & Root Cause Investigation: Perform detailed electrical failure analysis (FA) on returned units, manufacturing rejects, and field failures to identify root causes.
Test Automation Maintenance and Enhancement: Maintain, debug, and enhance existing automated test fixtures and scripts used for product qualification. Develop new automated tests and test fixtures as needed to support qualification, or to improve test coverage.
Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
Experience with:
32-bit MCU architecture and embedded protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, UART).
Power management circuits and battery.
RF design, especially for 2.4GHz
Proven experience in identifying and implementing cost reduction initiatives for electronic products.
Demonstrated experience with second source component qualification processes, including developing test plans and conducting validation.
Excellent communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in EE/RF/Hardware board design, validation, and with design tools (e.g., schematic capture, layout tools, lab bring up, and debug).
Experience with test automation development, maintenance, and scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, C#) is highly desirable.
Strong hands-on debugging and troubleshooting skills, with expertise in using standard lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, etc).
Team player with outspoken, open-minded and creative personality.
Strong commitment, quick learner and self-motivated with good priorities and time management skills.
