Description:You will be the Quality Control Specialist for the Ocala Operations team. Our team is responsible for building circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-assemblies, specializing in low-volume, high-mix and high-volume production.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing inspection information for units, assemblies, and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing specifications, prints, and manufacturing process plans to ensure inspection accuracy
• Interpreting engineering drawings and industry
specifications
• Recommending modifications to quality or production standards
• Assisting in First Article Inspections, process surveillance, and quality management system audits
• Using hand tools for measuring, such as calipers and micrometers

Basic Qualifications:
• This position will be located at a facility that
requires special access and requires the
selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• General knowledge of quality principles
Desired Skills:
• Strong communication skills (both oral and
written).
• Ability to work independently and as a team
player.
• ISO-9001/AS9100 knowledge.
• CCA/ECA experience, Cable/Harness
experience, Corrective Action process, MRB
experience, Military/Aerospace specs.
• Understanding of root cause analysis and
corrective action.
• Inspection experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
