Description:You will be the Expediter for our Production Support team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of materials and parts in our manufacturing environment.What You Will Be DoingAs the Expediter Manufacturing Senior you will be responsible for coordinatingthe movement of materials and parts to meet schedule demands while maintaining accurate records. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:* Expedite, route, and dispatch materials and parts according to production schedules.* Monitor master production schedule for shortages and alert appropriate authorities.* Maintain SAP entries, DOT paperwork, and documentation of completed orders.* Load and unload shipments, and coordinate in‑house transportation of materials.* Assist with work‑order issues and support inventory control activities.Why Join UsThe ideal candidate is a collaborative problem‑solver with strong computer and warehousing skills, eager to improve material flow on the shop floor. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
