In this role, you willbe requiredto performPost-Editing(light and full) on Machine Translation outputsin accordance withclient specifications.
You will:
Ensure target text correctly reflects the meaning of thesource
Providecorrections and text optimization based on the MToutput
Understand post-editing guidelines and ensure quality standards meet clientexpectations
Perform linguistic tasks as per project instructions and other references (translation memory, glossary, style guides, etc.)
Ensure high-grammatical accuracy whilemaintainingkey terminology, spotting inconsistencies and incorrect culturalreferences
Correct formatting/tagging, punctuation, country specifics, terminology, style, fluency as per guidelines
Requirements
Degree in Translation, Applied Linguistics or equivalentexperience
Native speaker inSlovak language
Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) experiencerequired
Excellent command of the Italianlanguage in both comprehension and writing
Preferred experience in translation and proofreading specialized inTechnical field
IT skills with knowledge and experienceof CAT tools
Comfortable with technology and open to learn to use newtools
Excellent understanding of Machine Translation Post-Editing processes and tools
Linguistic and cultural competences of both source and targetlanguage
Adaptive to fast-paced work environment with multiple changes of project priorities
Ability tomaintain professionalism under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Problem solving and decision-making skills
