SALES & MARKETING - MARKETING
Main Goal
The Head of Product Management will be responsible for our entire variety program and portfolio management, as well as for the coordination of marketing activities and for leading a team of three employees.
Job description
- Lead and develop the PD & Marcom team of 3 Crop Specialists & Marcom Assistants
- Develop and implement portfolio and marketing strategies
- Coordinate all local product development activities from breeding to market launch
- Collaborate with international breeding partners and product managers
Analyze markets, customer needs, and competitors - Manage marketing activities (brochures, catalogues, field days, press, website)
- Oversee product launches, marketing campaigns, and communication measures
- Create content for social media channels
- Take responsibility for budget, forecasts, and strategic planning
Skills: what we expect of you
- Degree in agricultural sciences/horticulture
- Experience in product management & commercial vegetable production is desirable
- Initial experience in marketing & social media (a plus)
- Proven team leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel frequently within Germany and occasionally internationally (e.g., NL, FR, AT, CH, Scandinavia)
- Language skills: fluent in German and English (spoken, read, written)
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
