ABOUT THE ROLE:
Lexitas is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Video Specialist to support our growing legal video and remote proceedings operations. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality, accurately synchronized video recordings for depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment, brings a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working at the intersection of technology, client service, and legal support. In addition to video post-production, this role supports live virtual proceedings across multiple time zones by coordinating remote events, troubleshooting technical issues in real time, and ensuring a seamless experience for clients, attorneys, court reporters, and internal teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Synchronize, process, edit, and perform quality control on legal video files for depositions, hearings, and related proceedings.
- Produce and deliver high-quality synchronized video files in client-requested formats while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Export, convert, upload, and distribute video files in multiple formats based on operational and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of post-production work, recordings, exhibits, uploads, file transfers, and remote event documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Support and help train team members on synchronization workflows, editing processes, and video production best practices.
- Operate and monitor video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet to ensure seamless virtual proceedings.
- Use OBS Studio to record and manage high-quality audio and video for remote legal events.
- Monitor and record live proceedings, ensuring recording integrity, participant connectivity, and overall event success.
- Troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and platform issues in real time with minimal supervision.
- Provide professional technical and customer support to clients, attorneys, court reporters, vendors, and internal teams before, during, and after proceedings.
- Communicate relevant updates to peers, leadership, and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in video synchronization, editing, and file delivery.
- Technical proficiency with video processing tools, digital workflows, and file management systems.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn video conferencing and recording tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and OBS Studio.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to audio, video, connectivity, and virtual platform performance.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Comfort accepting feedback and direction in a constructive manner.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and professionalism.
- General computer proficiency including Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, Windows-based applications, and internet tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal support services preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with video production, editing, or live/virtual event coordination is a plus.
- Working knowledge of video conferencing platforms and virtual collaboration tools.
- Prior experience working in a remote or hybrid environment preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is not a supervisory position.
