Overview:
The Associate Account Executive (AAE) is primarily focused on outbound prospecting, but also runs the full sales life-cycle in certain SMB/Mid-market Opportunities. The AAE models a research-based, personalized approach to prospecting paired with a value-based, consultative selling approach, engaging key prospect personas at multiple levels and departments. The AAE also partners with their Account Executive counterparts and LegitScript peers to gain access to key customer stakeholders, garner trust, and build a case for change to influence decision-makers. The AAE understands common business challenges and leverages selling tools & techniques to build a strong value proposition that will result in the sale of LegitScript’s solutions
What You'll Do:
- 75% outbound prospecting, 25% working and closing active opportunities
- Partner directly with Account Executives to develop and execute on a comprehensive territory plan for engaging target accounts.
- Effective outbound prospecting to secure client meetings within target accounts that fit LegitScript’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
- Nurture and close new logo customers, focused on select SMB and mid-market logos
- Develop and define value-based messaging for outbound prospecting
- Conduct well-researched, outbound prospecting campaigns within target accounts using industry-leading tools and a modern approach to successfully secure meetings for yourself and your Account Executive counterparts
- Qualify Marketing-generated inbound leads and determine potential alignment for LegitScript; validate/position the need for our solution and associated benefits
- Balance a variety of prospecting and selling techniques; successfully navigating highly complex organizations, hunting and identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Conduct effective qualification and discovery conversations to identify and quantify the impact of problems that align with our solutions
- Deliver sales presentations and high-level product demonstrations
- Close new business opportunities that result in revenue for LegitScript
- Manage business pipeline, providing accurate weekly and monthly reports and forecasts
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
- Capture and track all relevant activity and account data in Salesforce.com including but not limited to: Identifying target contacts, target accounts, logging email and phone, capturing meeting notes and logging prospecting and meeting activity
- Represent LegitScript at select industry events
What You'll Bring:
- 2+ years of proven success with outbound-focused prospecting and selling
- 1+ years of experience with mid-market sales (enterprise-level sales preferred)
- 1+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales
- Proficient in use of modern sales stack: Salesforce, Zoominfo, LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, Outreach/Salesloft, Gong/Co-pilot
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
- Exceptional organization skills and time management
- Proven experience adapting and thriving in a constantly changing environment
- Must possess and consistently exhibit the competencies relative to the position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups of varying size
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions
- Demonstrates an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance
- Well-developed ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English
- Commitment to travel up to 10%
