LAFully Remote Python & Django Developer
Responsibilities:Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and objectives.Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and the Django framework.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, and implement effective solutions.Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on project progress and address any challenges.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and contribute innovative ideas.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience in Python web development, with a focus on Django framework.Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.Experience with version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and collaboration abilities in a remote work environment.Must be available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
