We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Capture Manager to join our team and lead the effort in winning federal government IT service contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, particularly in the IT services sector, and a proven track record of successfully capturing and winning competitive bids.

Responsibilties

  • Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies focused on winning federal government IT service contracts, including market analysis, opportunity identification, and competitive positioning.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with federal government customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders to understand their needs, identify potential opportunities, and position our company as a trusted partner.
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the federal IT services market, leveraging industry knowledge, market trends, and customer insights to drive growth.
  • Proposal Management: Lead the development of high-quality proposals, working closely with capture managers, technical experts, and finance to ensure alignment with customer requirements and maximize win probability.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including technical, operations, and legal teams, to develop winning solutions and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with government customers and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks and maximizing profitability.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the federal IT services market, and use this information to inform business development strategies and decision-making.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, win/loss analysis, and key performance indicators to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, with a focus on federal government contracting and IT services.
  • Proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and winning federal IT service contracts, with a strong portfolio of past performance and successful business capture.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes, including FAR and DFAR regulations, and experience with GSA schedules, IDIQ contracts, and other government acquisition vehicles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in capture management, with a focus on federal government IT service contracts.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearances as needed.
