AV Account Manager (Hybrid Remote)

This position allows for 2-3 days per week remote / work from home. We are a leading provider of innovative audiovisual (AV) solutions for commercial, educational, and government clients. Our comprehensive AV solutions enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity in various environments. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team and drive sales in the State, Local, and Education (SLED) market segment.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in the SLED market segment.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and networking with key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to understand their needs and promote additional AV solutions.
  • Solution Consultation:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their AV requirements, objectives, and budget constraints.
  • Conduct needs assessments, site surveys, and product demonstrations to propose tailored AV solutions that meet client expectations.
  • Present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients and negotiate terms to secure contracts and close sales.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting:
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to AV solutions in the SLED sector.
  • Analyze sales data, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Maintain a CRM database with accurate and up-to-date client information, interactions, and sales activities.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers to foster loyalty and generate repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1+ years of proven sales experience in the AV industry, preferably selling to the SLED market segment.
  • Strong understanding of AV technologies, solutions, and applications, including audio systems, video conferencing, digital signage, and control systems.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building profitable client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales forecasting tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
