Kyivstar.Tech is looking for a Product Designer (Web) to evolve a high-traffic website and ship responsive experiences for both desktop and mobile. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional product team and influence the product’s trajectory through evidence-based design.

About us

Kyivstar.Tech is a Ukrainian hybrid IT company and a resident of Diia.City. We are a subsidiary of Kyivstar, one of Ukraine’s largest telecom operators.
Our mission is to change lives in Ukraine and around the world by creating technological solutions and products that unleash the potential of businesses and meet users’ needs.
Over 600+ KS.Tech specialists work daily in various areas: mobile and web solutions, as well as design, development, support, and technical maintenance of high-performance systems and services.
We believe in innovations that truly bring quality changes and constantly challenge conventional approaches and solutions. Each of us is an adherent of entrepreneurial culture, which allows us never to stop, to evolve, and to create something new.

What you will do:

  • Discover user needs through research and analytics, and translate insights into clear design directions
  • Frame problems with Product Management: hypotheses, scope, and success metrics
  • Apply Service Design thinking to keep the web experience cohesive within the end-to-end service and key handoffs (including assisted/offline touchpoints), without owning those channels
  • Align with adjacent teams (e.g., retail, contact center, operations) on handoffs and constraints so website journeys connect smoothly with assisted/offline steps
  • Collaborate daily with engineers and Product Management within the cross-functional product team to explore, evaluate, and refine solutions
  • Design responsive web experiences across desktop and mobile breakpoints (and tablet where applicable): layout, content hierarchy, and interaction behavior
  • Shape and evolve the website information architecture (navigation, sitemap, taxonomy)
  • Create core UX artifacts (user flows, wireframes, site maps) and prototypes to communicate structure and behavior
  • Plan and run usability tests, synthesize findings, and iterate designs based on evidence
  • Use and contribute to the design system (components/variants/tokens), and document key decisions and reusable patterns
  • Collaborate with content design / UX writing to improve page structure, messaging, and microcopy
  • Apply accessibility fundamentals (WCAG basics) and web implementation constraints (HTML/CSS feasibility)
  • Support implementation through release with engineers, review outcomes post-launch, and iterate based on feedback and metrics

Qualifications and experience needed:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a UX/UI design role or related capacity
  • Strong experience designing responsive web interfaces for desktop and mobile; portfolio cases should demonstrate breakpoint thinking and information hierarchy
  • Hands-on experience using and contributing to design systems (components, variants, tokens, and guidelines)
  • Practical understanding of product design processes (Discovery/Delivery): problem framing, hypotheses, success metrics, and working within a cross-functional product team with PO/BA/engineers on requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Strong Service Design mindset and practical use of tools (journey maps, service blueprints) to design web experiences as part of a cohesive end-to-end service
  • Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, components, variants, and libraries)
  • Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Framer)
  • Basic understanding of web accessibility (WCAG fundamentals) and web implementation constraints (HTML/CSS)
  • Experience working within an Agile or Scrum development framework
  • English proficiency at an Intermediate level or above
  • Fluent written and spoken Ukrainian
  • A foundational understanding of Customer Development is considered a significant advantage

What we offer:

  • Office or remote — it’s up to you. You can work from anywhere, and we will arrange your workplace
  • Remote onboarding
  • Performance bonuses for everyone (annual or quarterly — depends on the role)
  • We train employees: with the opportunity to learn through the company’s library, internal resources, and programs from partners
  • Health and life insurance
  • Wellbeing program and corporate psychologist
  • Reimbursement of expenses for Kyivstar mobile communication
