Ukraine onlyKyivstar.Tech is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join our team and help drive high‑quality, predictable delivery across Agile initiatives. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in enabling the team’s success by facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, supporting smooth and efficient delivery, and proactively identifying and removing impediments that hinder progress. You will coach the team toward higher levels of Agile and Scrum maturity, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability. In this role, you will help create a trusting and psychologically safe environment where team members feel empowered to take ownership and innovate. A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), along with deep knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and theory, is essential for driving effective delivery and supporting the team’s growth.

What you will do
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensure alignment of expectations, and facilitate collaborative decision-making
- Drive team focuses on product metrics, prioritizing value and user impact over task completion
- Track team performance and promote continuous improvement
- Enable frequent, streamlined releases and guide teams and business toward predictable, incremental delivery cycles
- Optimize workflows by eliminating unnecessary processes and implementing continuous improvements
- Coach teams to foster autonomy, support professional growth, and resolve conflicts effectively
- Facilitate planning sessions, backlog refinements, and retrospectives, ensuring they are structured, productive, and inclusive
- Balance discovery and delivery efforts, helping teams manage priorities and workload efficiently
Qualifications and experience needed
- At least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Masterin an app/web development team
- Ability to deliver within each sprint according to the product roadmap
- Guide the team on how to get the most out of self-organization
- Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible
- Agile practices, patterns, and techniques such as automated testing, user stories, TDD, continuous integration, planning, etc
- Advanced understanding of task decomposing principles, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, focus factor, capacity analysis, etc.
- Theory and practical knowledge of the Scale Scrum framework
- Strong sense of ownership for projects and team performance
- Good skills to coach the team on how to follow agile scrum, which works
- Understand the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
- Jira advanced user/admin
