About the Role

Uber is looking for a Recognition Specialist to support the execution and operational excellence of our Rewards and Recognition (R&R) programs across APAC Community Operations (CX) and Centers of Excellence (COE) teams. This role is instrumental in celebrating our people, fostering a culture of appreciation, and ensuring recognition programs are well-utilized, impactful, and aligned with both global and regional strategies.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about creating a culture where employees feel valued and recognized for their contributions.

  • Monitor and report on recognition program utilization, compliance, budget tracking, and impact through dashboards and regular reporting.

  • Identify trends and analyze recognition data to recommend improvements, address gaps, and increase program adoption and visibility.

  • Support awareness and communication efforts by creating content, toolkits, and program updates that promote recognition programs across communication channels.

  • Manage logistics for program fulfillment including rewards disbursement, swag distribution, and vendor coordination across different countries in APAC.

  • Partner with site-based Employee Experience teams to support site-specific recognition needs and ensure local alignment with regional and global initiatives.

  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across countries and teams.

  • Solid analytical skills and experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, or tracking tools to report outcomes and uncover insights.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) and comfortable using tools like Slack and Confluence.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a professional yet engaging tone.

  • Proven ability to execute with attention to detail, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes under limited supervision.

  • Comfortable working in a regional capacity with multiple time zones and cultural contexts

  • Experience working in a COE, BPO, or regional shared services environment.
