As part of the highly skilled Asset Support Team, the Mechanical Engineer will work under the direction of the Converting Asset Leader to provide both proactive and reactive maintenance support within their area discipline. This will be a hands-on role in both planned maintenance and troubleshooting scenarios. In this role, you will be installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical components of machines and assets in our mill facility, in accordance with our reliability strategy and site safety standards.
About You

You will be maintaining equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work. Required Qualifications
- Formal Engineering qualifications, typically to degree level (minimum HNC).
- Achieved an HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline. In addition, you will have a recognised apprenticeship in a relevant field ideally NVQ level 3 with hands on experience in Manufacturing/FMCG environments.
Preferred qualifications
- Transfer in-depth technical knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems (e.g., Pumps, Motors, Gearboxes, Transmission Systems, Steam Generation, and Lifting equipment).
- Apply CBM methodologies to drive equipment reliability.
