A key part of the role involves cost optimization and governance, ensuring our Azure environments are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with business priorities. In a fast-evolving technology landscape, we value a mindset of constant learning and adaptability, as staying ahead of innovation is critical to our success. This role will also lead the adoption of modern engineering practices such as GitOps, Zero Trust, and self-service platform enablement, helping instill a strong DevSecOps culture across the organization.

  • Zero Trust and Policy-as-Code: Apply Zero Trust architecture principles across Azure services and access controls. Leverage Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Entra to enforce compliance and governance through Policy-as-Code.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all Azure infrastructure solutions comply with internal security policies and external regulatory requirements. Proactively mitigate risks and support pen testing, vulnerability scanning, and incident response readiness.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost. Rapidly diagnose and resolve issues across complex, distributed Azure environments.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including IT, developers, testers, and operations—to deliver robust cloud infrastructure across multiple subscriptions, tenants, and environments.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including infrastructure designs, configurations, CI/CD workflows, and security controls.
