The Technical Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of scalable, data-driven systems that enhance the Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP). This role focuses on creating solutions for monitoring provider performance, streamlining operations, and supporting readiness and compliance activities. You will collaborate with policy experts, program managers, financial analysts, and technical teams to translate complex program requirements into integrated technical solutions. The position involves designing secure data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that facilitate operational assessments and financial oversight across statewide programs. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in solution architecture, cloud technologies, and healthcare or public sector program management. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while working in a remote, collaborative, and dynamic environment.
Accountabilities
- Define and lead the technical architecture for systems supporting MATP planning, readiness, and oversight operations.
- Design integrated solutions for provider performance tracking, financial reporting, claims reconciliation, and readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and policy teams to translate program goals into technical requirements.
- Support the development of dashboards, monitoring systems, and analytical tools for service delivery, provider capacity, and cost trends.
- Guide the implementation of secure data pipelines and storage solutions involving transportation and healthcare data.
- Ensure technical solutions comply with privacy, security, and Medicaid transportation program regulations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on system modifications, performance tuning, and solution enhancements.
- Document architectural decisions, interface designs, data schemas, and system workflows.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in solution or systems architecture roles, preferably within healthcare or transportation-focused environments.
- Proven experience designing systems that integrate operational, provider management, or claims/payment data.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with modern software and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of Medicaid programs, transportation benefit models, or broker-readiness models is highly desirable.
- Expertise in managing data integrity, user access control, and system security aligned with HIPAA and PII/PHI standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with ETL design, system integration, or financial reconciliation tools is a plus.
