This role offers the opportunity to be a key partner to support and security operations leadership, translating complex datasets into actionable insights that drive customer health, engagement, and operational efficiency. The Staff Data Analyst will lead the development and management of analytics frameworks, dashboards, and reporting systems that influence strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-backed recommendations, identify trends, and deliver a metric-driven narrative that informs both tactical and long-term business strategies. This position combines technical expertise with strategic influence in a fully remote, high-growth, and mission-driven cybersecurity environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain the analytical framework for monitoring customer health, support effectiveness, and SOC operations.
- Design, build, and manage scalable dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer engagement, support efficiency, incident effectiveness, and other key metrics.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and clear narratives for executive and operational stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analytics engineers to ensure accurate data pipelines and metric alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide data-driven guidance on strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and process improvements.
- Monitor KPIs and provide timely alerts on significant changes, anomalies, or performance gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing complex datasets.
- Strong experience with BI tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills for executive audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and influence strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
