Sr. Python Developer (Remote - India)

We are seeking an experienced Python developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power high-performance applications. The role focuses on developing robust and efficient solutions using Python with Django or Flask frameworks, integrating with mobile applications and social networking APIs. The position emphasizes scalability, performance optimization, and high-quality software standards. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (Django/Flask).
• Integrate backend services with mobile applications and third-party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+).
• Implement caching, async mechanisms, and database interactions for optimal performance.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deploy high-quality solutions.
• Engineer systems with scalability and reliability in mind, handling failure scenarios gracefully.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentoring of junior team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with OAuth integration, mobile app integration, caching, and async programming.
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and scalable system design.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or Digital Ocean.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
