Accountabilities:
- Lead backend engineering efforts, from prototypes to large-scale production applications.
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud-based detection systems for cybersecurity applications.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define requirements and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and high-quality software standards.
- Mentor and coach team members, sharing expertise in backend development, data storage, and distributed systems.
- Continuously evaluate product architecture, knowledge models, performance, and system stability.
- Operate autonomously in a high-trust environment, taking ownership of assigned projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience in algorithms, distributed systems, or backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Go (Golang) and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Proficiency with distributed systems concepts including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
- Experience with databases and message queues, such as Cassandra, Kafka, Redis, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of engineering best practices including testing, code review, and continuous integration.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to thrive in an iterative, test-driven, and collaborative programming culture.
