This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer, Full Stack - Safety in the United States.
In this role, you will develop and maintain full-stack applications that improve operational safety for large-scale physical operations. You will work on web, mobile, and API products that leverage sensor data, video analytics, and large language models (LLMs) to detect risks, provide insights, and guide strategic safety management. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and ML/AI engineers, you will build scalable, AI-driven solutions that impact real-world operations across industries. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges, optimize safety workflows, and contribute directly to the safety and efficiency of global fleets. Your work will influence how organizations proactively manage risks while delivering measurable operational improvements.
Accountabilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain full-stack web and mobile applications to support safety operations.
- Integrate LLMs into safety workflows, design evaluation methods, and build feedback loops for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and ML/AI engineers to refine workflows and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Analyze data from IoT devices, sensors, and video feeds to detect unsafe behaviors and recognize positive practices.
- Ensure operational health, performance, and scalability of production systems for a growing customer base.
- Contribute to the team culture by embodying growth mindset, inclusivity, and customer-first principles.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Golang.
- Knowledge of designing, architecting, and deploying full-stack applications at scale.
- Familiarity with integrating and evaluating LLMs in products, including feedback loop design.
- Experience using data to investigate issues, make informed decisions, and deliver results.
- Ability to estimate, communicate, and meet project milestones collaboratively.
- Growth mindset, adaptability, and eagerness to build new skills in AI and full-stack development.
Preferred:
- Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native application design.
- Experience optimizing LLM-powered systems for efficiency and cost.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
