Software Development Engineer in Test (Remote - India)

This is a full-time remote opportunity for a skilled software engineer passionate about quality and test automation. In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain robust testing frameworks to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performance products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product, and leadership, to uphold quality standards across diverse platforms and integrations. Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Design, architect, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
• Perform API, UI, and end-to-end testing, including performance testing of complex systems.
• Leverage AI to enhance test automation strategies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure effective test automation integration.
• Deliver new automated tests across multiple projects and applications.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to validate specifications and implementation.
• Support release preparation and conduct comprehensive release testing.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should bring:

• Strong experience in architecting and scaling automated test systems.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Golang, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with automated testing of APIs, web applications, and client-server systems.
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, and streaming protocols.
• A “break-it” mindset with a keen eye for edge cases and subtle bugs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail, with a passion for delivering clean, high-quality code.
• Based in India with fluency in English (written and verbal).
