As a Software Development Engineer Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical vision and delivering scalable, high-performance applications. You will lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring best practices in design, coding, and deployment while aligning solutions with business objectives. The role requires deep expertise in .NET full stack development and cloud technologies, particularly AWS, along with a strong focus on architectural strategy, DevOps practices, and emerging technology adoption. You will collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, optimize database and backend performance, and drive innovation within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to combine hands-on development with leadership, guiding teams through complex technical challenges while contributing directly to product success.

Accountabilities

• Define and drive the technical strategy and architecture for software projects.
• Lead the design and development of full stack solutions using .NET Core, C#, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Oversee the implementation of scalable PostgreSQL database solutions.
• Apply and enforce best practices including design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Repository) and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals and timelines.
• Mentor developers through code reviews, technical guidance, and hands-on problem solving.
• Ensure high-quality software development practices via continuous integration, deployment, and cloud-based workflows using AWS.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their potential for adoption within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 9+ years of experience in software development, with recent experience in a technical leadership role.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
• .NET Core, C#, Angular, JavaScript
• PostgreSQL database design and optimization
• Design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Repository) and SOLID principles
• Source control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket
• Cloud technologies, particularly AWS
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Proven experience in mentoring and guiding development teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
