We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Biostatistician to provide advanced statistical support for clinical trials, registries, and research studies. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical investigators, guide study design, develop statistical analysis plans, and generate insightful analyses that inform critical decisions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance while advancing high-impact clinical research. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication skills to translate complex statistical findings into actionable insights.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with clinical investigators to design studies and develop protocol sections requiring statistical input.
- Lead the creation and validation of statistical analysis plans and programming for clinical trials.
- Perform statistical analyses, generate treatment allocations, and ensure proper implementation in randomized studies.
- Monitor data quality and implement safety monitoring reports to safeguard participants.
- Produce study reports for internal stakeholders, monitoring committees, and regulatory agencies.
- Apply quality control processes to ensure high-quality, accurate deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Contribute to manuscripts, publications, and scientific presentations.
Communicate project milestones and status updates to internal teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Statistics with a minimum of 6 years of clinical research experience.
- Strong understanding of experimental design and statistical methods in clinical research.
- Proficient in SAS and/or R programming, with expertise in data manipulation and statistical methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to lead departmental initiatives and guide teams in statistical practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, tools, and procedures as needed.
