Senior Software Engineer (.Net) - Remote LATAM

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance applications and services in a cloud-first environment. In this role, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, leveraging Microsoft Azure and modern development practices. You will participate in architecture discussions, optimize databases, and ensure production-grade reliability, while mentoring junior engineers and fostering a collaborative team culture. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and shape the technical direction of critical systems in a fully remote Latin American setting.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable applications using C#/.NET on Microsoft Azure.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using strong SQL expertise.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and participate in architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production systems.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation.
• Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and other cloud-native components.
• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and team growth.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology and software engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development.
• Deep expertise in SQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including cloud-native application deployment.
• Familiarity with integration services such as Azure Logic Apps or Azure Service Bus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English (C1/C2).
• Nice to have: experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS), front-end frameworks (Angular/React/TypeScript), testing frameworks, and .NET Framework knowledge.
