In this role, you will be responsible for automating and supporting the integration of a large portfolio of applications into a complex network environment. You will work closely with application and infrastructure teams to implement standardized solutions, manage firewall configurations, and troubleshoot network issues. The position focuses on delivering high-quality, repeatable automation tasks while ensuring compliance with established patterns and security policies. You will participate in application intake and review processes, maintain documentation and inventories, and support ongoing operational needs. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to critical network initiatives that impact hundreds of applications and stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with application teams during the application review and integration process.
- Participate in Enterprise Protect application intake, assessing requirements and integration feasibility.
- Create and submit firewall requests (NETP) for approval, and maintain related documentation.
- Design, configure, and augment firewall policies, including SDWAN-specific implementations.
- Maintain NATs and NETP inventory spreadsheets, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Troubleshoot client access and network issues post-implementation.
- Participate in ad hoc meetings for process clarification, architecture discussions, and escalations.
- Ensure all integrated applications pass testing and validation before production deployment.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience with F5 networks and automation practices.
- Strong knowledge of firewall design, NATs, and SDWAN network integrations.
- Proficient in supporting application integration processes in large-scale environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adhere to integration standards and best practices.
- Comfortable participating in remote collaboration and cross-functional meetings.
