Senior Software Engineer, Integrations

Accountabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance platform integrations and APIs to support product and clinical workflows.
• Participate actively in agile sprint planning, technical design, and end-to-end feature delivery.
• Ensure high-quality software through test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Collaborate with product, solutions architecture, and customer experience teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support healthcare security and compliance standards in software development.
• Contribute to technical documentation and facilitate team-wide knowledge transfers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the software development lifecycle.
• Strong experience building data services, APIs, and software systems using Java.
• Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Experience in designing and maintaining databases, data modeling, and observability platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform), and modern software engineering practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to own end-to-end feature development with attention to non-functional requirements.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working on cross-functional software teams.
• Preferred: experience with FHIR/HL7 healthcare standards and leading technical design decisions.
