As a Senior GenAI Algorithms Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize advanced generative AI models to solve complex real-world problems. You will work with large language models, multimodal AI systems, and cutting-edge deep learning frameworks to deliver state-of-the-art solutions. The role involves implementing new algorithms, tuning for performance and accuracy, defining APIs, and building scalable AI toolsets. You will collaborate across teams, including internal stakeholders and open source communities, contributing to high-impact projects in a product-centric environment. This position offers the opportunity to push the boundaries of AI research and development while working in a dynamic and collaborative technical setting.
Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize generative AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and multimodal AI systems.
- Contribute to open source frameworks and libraries, ensuring state-of-the-art performance and usability.
- Design and implement large-scale distributed systems for AI training and inference, including data preprocessing, orchestration, and deployment pipelines.
- Analyze, improve, and extend AI/DL libraries, frameworks, and APIs following engineering best practices.
- Prototype and develop effective tools and infrastructure pipelines to support AI research and deployment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the open source community to implement robust, high-performance AI algorithms.
- Publish research findings and technical contributions in scientific publications and open source repositories.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, AI, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in AI, machine learning, or related computational fields.
- Strong fundamentals in mathematics and deep learning algorithms.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with AI/DL frameworks such as PyTorch or JAX.
- Experience in debugging, performance analysis, test design, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, product-focused, and multifaceted technical environment.
- Prior experience with generative AI models, LLMs, and multimodal variants (image, video, speech) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of large-scale AI training, distributed systems, performance optimization, and deployment environments (e.g., ONNX, Triton) is a plus.
- Understanding of GPU/CPU architecture and numerical software is advantageous.
