Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Remote - US)

As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will design and develop scalable cloud-based applications that enhance operational workflows and customer experiences. You will work across both backend and frontend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust SaaS solutions. Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services using NestJS and frontend applications using NextJS.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases, microservices architecture, and APIs for high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance technical decisions with business objectives.
• Mentor engineers on SDLC best practices, design systems, and maintain clean, maintainable code.
• Leverage AI and agentic tools throughout the development lifecycle to enhance workflows and innovation.
• Support deployment processes by debugging, troubleshooting, and coordinating with DevOps and QA teams.
• Develop and maintain APIs and other backend functionality while adhering to scalable design principles.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience building and debugging cloud-based, large-scale solutions.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles, software design patterns, and Atomic Design principles.
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL (query optimization, migrations).
• Proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, NestJS, and frontend frameworks such as React or NextJS.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative software development.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving work environment.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Experience building scalable SaaS applications and integrating third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve development workflows or decision-making.
