As a Senior Fullstack JavaScript Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled, collaborative team building innovative software solutions that leverage machine learning and automation. You will work on systems that communicate with vehicle purchasers via multiple channels, using a modern tech stack that includes JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, Python, and AWS. Your contributions will directly impact client success, system reliability, and scalability. You will have the autonomy to drive projects, explore new ideas, and implement creative solutions, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams across Latin America. Accountabilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain fullstack applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and Python.
- Build scalable backend services on AWS and integrate cloud-based solutions for automation and communication workflows.
- Write unit tests and maintain code quality to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software.
- Investigate and implement new ideas, tools, and frameworks to optimize system performance and developer productivity.
- Communicate effectively with US clients and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and resolve technical challenges.
- Share knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript.
- 3+ years of experience with TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and AWS.
- 2+ years of experience writing unit tests and ensuring software quality.
- 1+ years of experience with Python, Linux command line, and Git.
- Advanced English proficiency for effective communication with international clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to take ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a remote team environment.
