Accountabilities:
- Design, prototype, and productionize privacy-focused product and infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and legal, to execute product and business strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and integrate privacy safeguards into large-scale systems.
- Lead and contribute across the full software development cycle: design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code and designs, provide feedback on product specifications, and influence long-term technical direction.
- Implement Privacy by Design practices across engineering and product development processes.
- Mentor team members and share best practices for scalable, secure, and privacy-conscious engineering.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in fullstack software development.
- Proficiency in at least one major backend language (Java, Kotlin, or Scala).
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Preact, Angular, Next, Vue, or Meteor).
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL queries and mutations in production environments.
- Strong understanding of high-scale web application architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and algorithms.
- Passion for end-to-end product delivery, from ideation to experimentation and testing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset to work with design, product, data science, infrastructure, policy, operations, and legal teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and privacy-enforcing infrastructure and tooling.
