This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer (LLM/AI) in Latin America.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and scaling AI-powered platforms that enable organizations to deliver immersive, real-time training simulations. You will work across both backend and frontend systems, contributing to the design, development, and optimization of AI-driven features. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, implement cloud-native solutions, and leverage LLM/AI technologies to create high-impact products. You will also participate in system migrations, performance tuning, and the deployment of scalable services on Azure and AWS. Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services primarily using NestJS, Python, or Java.
- Support frontend development using ReactJS and JavaScript (approximately 20% of the role).
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Contribute to migration projects, moving backend services from Java to NestJS.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based deployments and monitoring in Azure and AWS environments.
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with 80% backend development in NestJS, Python, or Java, and 20% frontend experience in JavaScript/ReactJS.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS a plus).
- Expertise in software design principles, REST APIs, and modular architecture.
- Experience in scalable system design, deployment, and monitoring of AI-powered applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional, agile environment.
- Proven ability to mentor team members and share technical knowledge effectively.
