Senior Full Stack Engineer (Front-End Focus)

This role is ideal for a versatile engineer passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and reliable user-facing applications. You will work across the full stack—from front-end interfaces to the APIs and backend systems that power them—ensuring seamless performance and maintainability. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will partner closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features that empower healthcare providers with critical patient data. The role offers opportunities to shape application architecture, mentor team members, and contribute to the future of healthcare data interoperability.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain web applications and the APIs that support them.
• Collaborate across teams to prototype, iterate, and deliver new functionality.
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and technical direction of applications.
• Mentor and coach other engineers to improve team performance and code quality.
• Partner with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and maintainability in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Participate in periodic in-person collaboration, such as workshops, team gatherings, and retreats.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in building high-quality, consumer-facing user interfaces.
• Strong proficiency with front-end technologies including ReactJS, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with backend technologies such as Go, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, and AWS services (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB).
• Understanding of application security best practices.
• Ability to work across the tech stack, delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in healthcare data, APIs, or familiarity with FHIR/TEFCA standards is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with occasional travel for in-person collaboration.
