Senior Full-stack Engineer (Angular + Node) | HeyCharge

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full-stack Engineer (Angular + Node) in Germany.

We are seeking a Senior Full-stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications that integrate cloud services, real-time data flows, and user-facing features. You will primarily focus on frontend development using Angular while contributing to backend services with Node.js. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects that connect hardware and software, shape product architecture, and directly impact millions of users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and help define the next generation of scalable, secure, and offline-capable applications.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain complex Angular applications with robust business logic, state management, and real-time interactions.
• Contribute to backend development and API integration using Node.js and cloud services such as GCP or Firebase.
• Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and reliability across the stack.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features aligned with product goals.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Support offline-first and connected device functionality where applicable.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing to maintain engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack or frontend-focused development.
• Expert-level skills in Angular and TypeScript, including components, services, RxJS, and state management.
• Solid experience with Node.js for backend development and API integration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Firebase.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture, data flow, performance optimization, and security principles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, WebSockets, BLE), offline-first applications, PWAs, or Rust.
