Senior Cryptologic Computer Scientist

This role offers an opportunity for an experienced cryptologic computer scientist to work on mission-critical projects supporting government customers. You will apply your expertise in signals analysis, SATCOM networking, and protocol exploitation to sustain and enhance critical software and systems. The position provides a hands-on, technically challenging environment where individual contributions directly impact national security initiatives. Accountabilities:

• Perform technical work on cryptologic systems, including signals and protocol analysis for VSAT/RF exploitation.
• Support SATCOM networking analysis and software/system enhancements to meet mission objectives.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts and Python-based tools to streamline operational workflows.
• Sustain and troubleshoot critical mission-related software and systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective project execution and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to research, assessments, and solutions in cybersecurity and advanced threat mitigation.
• Participate in on-site and remote support as needed for government contracts.

Requirements

• Active or reinstatable TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph is required.

· U.S. Citizenship.

• 8+ years of experience in computer science, or fewer years with an advanced degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in signals and protocol analysis.
• Experience with SATCOM networking analysis and related cryptologic applications.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and Python.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to handle sensitive and classified information appropriately.
