Senior Backend Developer (Remote - EU)

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality backend solutions using Python, PHP (Symfony), and JavaScript (Vue.js, React).
• Configure, extend, and optimize unique online shops and complex e-commerce functionalities.
• Design, implement, and refine innovative ideas to enhance digital shopping experiences.
• Explore and integrate modern web technologies to support scalable, performant solutions.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver robust software.
• Maintain code quality and consistency through version control (Git) and best practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of practical experience in backend or full-stack development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Shopware 6.
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Symfony) and Python.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Confident use of Git and standard development workflows.
• Formal education in computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields.
• Professional-level German language skills (C1 or above).
• Passion for coding with a solution-oriented, quality-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts.
