We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Applications Analyst to manage, maintain, and optimize business applications in a fast-paced financial services environment. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate business opportunities, and ensure application functionality aligns with organizational goals. You will help improve operational efficiency, enhance the client experience, and support system upgrades and integrations. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality application solutions. You will also maintain reporting systems, disaster recovery plans, and ensure adherence to established processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable application solutions.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and support assigned applications to ensure reliability and current functionality.
- Conduct business process reviews to identify efficiency gains and optimize application use.
- Evaluate product offerings, enhancements, and features to determine feasibility and business value.
- Lead or participate in projects such as system upgrades, integrations, and application initiatives.
- Maintain and manage reporting systems to provide actionable insights for business decisions.
- Ensure all application changes follow standard processes, with exceptions granted only under approval.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans and models for assigned systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an application, business, or systems analyst, preferably in the financial industry.
- Technical certifications in Microsoft, CompTIA, or Cisco are a plus for enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of SQL, SAS Visual Analytics, SSRS, or other reporting technologies preferred.
- Payment certifications (AAP, NCP, APRP) are a plus for deposit applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams across multiple departments.
- Experience with banking operations, system integrations, and project management is highly desirable.
