As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications that optimize mobile device services and reduce cellular costs for global clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, contribute to both front-end and back-end development, and ensure the software is scalable, reliable, and maintainable. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, support diverse international clients, and mentor junior developers while participating in an agile, collaborative environment. Your work will have a tangible impact on simplifying enterprise mobile management and improving operational efficiency.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop front-end features using CSS3, HTML5, and Bootstrap while integrating content from MSSQL databases.
• Test software through unit tests, integration tests, and debugging tools.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to solve complex software problems.
• Contribute to project plans, technical specifications, and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails and web application architecture.
• Proficient in front-end technologies: CSS3, HTML5, Bootstrap.
• Experience with Cold Fusion is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
