Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications and APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with a distributed team of developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
• Contribute to system design discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Ensure code quality and performance through testing and best development practices.
• Support integrations with multiple partners and platforms to enhance learning experiences.
• Work in an agile/scrum environment with regular sprints and collaborative planning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails web and API development.
• Strong written and spoken English to effectively collaborate with an international team.
• Proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian (reading and writing).
• Knowledge of modern web development technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and full-stack concepts.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a remote, fast-paced team.
• Located in one of the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.
