Python & Cloud Automation Engineer - EU region

As a Python & Cloud Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize automation solutions driving large-scale cloud and network operations. Working within modern CI/CD frameworks, you’ll develop tools and integrations that enhance reliability, scalability, and efficiency across cloud environments. This role combines hands-on engineering, scripting, and cloud orchestration in a fast-evolving ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with global teams, contribute to strategic automation initiatives, and ensure secure, seamless service delivery within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Accountabilities:

• Design and develop Python-based automation solutions to manage hyperscaler network resources efficiently.
• Work with JSON data structures and integrate solutions into a unified data lake.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
• Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability, performance, and operational continuity.
• Develop and maintain UI components using UI5, and create visualization dashboards via Elastic/Kibana.
• Integrate secure authentication mechanisms using Azure AD for identity and access management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance application functionality.
• Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for all systems, tools, and automation processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in Python development and automation scripting.
• Strong proficiency in JSON handling and familiarity with Octobus operations.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and real-world deployment environments.
• Solid background in Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
• Expertise in Google Cloud environments and integration with Azure AD for security.
• Experience with UI5 for front-end development and Elastic/Kibana for analytics and visualization.
• Understanding of hyperscaler network environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, distributed teams.
• Willingness to align working hours with U.S. time zones while based in the EU.
