We are seeking a motivated Project Manager I to oversee IT projects from initiation to completion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves managing schedules, budgets, scope, and quality while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while fostering collaboration and innovation. Accountabilities:
- Establish and manage project plans covering schedule, cost, scope, and quality.
- Identify logical dependencies, critical paths, and escalate key tasks to team members as needed.
- Follow defined project methodologies, including standard SDLC templates, and articulate their benefits.
- Proactively identify variances to plans and implement corrective actions.
- Document project risks and facilitate risk reviews and mitigation strategies.
- Track project expenses, including capital and labor costs.
- Develop and execute communications plans to keep all stakeholders informed.
- Continuously invest in self-development to enhance skills and adapt to new concepts.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of IT work experience, including 3+ years managing projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of Agile methodology is recommended; project management certification preferred.
- Basic understanding of Waterfall methodology, complex projects, and project risk management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Clarity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, manage conflict, and collaborate effectively.
- Highly adaptable to changing environments with situational awareness to know when to lead or listen.
