This role provides an exciting opportunity to shape privacy and product compliance across a fast-growing technology platform. You will help drive data protection initiatives, build privacy best practices, and support AI-related product compliance while ensuring responsible data governance. The position involves collaborating across multiple teams—including Legal, Security, Trust & Safety, and Engineering—to maintain regulatory compliance, assess risks, and implement privacy-by-design principles. You will contribute to policy development, employee training, and auditing processes while monitoring evolving global privacy and AI regulations. This fully remote role empowers professionals who thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy translating complex compliance requirements into actionable solutions.
Accountabilities
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s global privacy and product compliance programs.
 - Conduct privacy risk assessments, audits, and data protection reviews, recommending mitigation strategies.
 - Manage data subject requests (DSRs), privacy impact assessments (PIAs), incident plans, and privacy/security controls.
 - Collaborate on data-sharing agreements and other contracts to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize risk.
 - Develop and deliver privacy-related policies, guidelines, procedures, and employee training programs.
 - Build and maintain monitoring programs, generating reports and metrics to track compliance and identify areas for improvement.
 - Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments, industry trends, and AI/technology innovations that impact privacy practices.
 
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in privacy compliance, data governance, or related legal/compliance roles.
 - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; certifications such as CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM preferred.
 - Strong knowledge of privacy regulations and demonstrated experience conducting privacy risk assessments.
 - Understanding of AI models, data pipelines, and privacy-preserving techniques.
 - Excellent organization, project management, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage projects across multiple teams.
 - Technical proficiency and experience with workflow tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
 - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex privacy concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
 - Familiarity with Privacy-by-Design principles and integrating privacy considerations into business processes.

 - Zone A: $142,000 – $197,000 USD
 - Zone B: $134,000 – $185,000 USD
 - Zone C: $125,000 – $173,000 USD
