This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the design of next-generation SaaS applications, including digital twin, simulation, and operational dashboard solutions. You will take ownership of end-to-end product design, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and final visual design. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that user experiences align with business goals while promoting consistency across enterprise design systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, senior-level designer with a strong portfolio, deep knowledge of UI/UX principles, and experience in data-intensive, complex software environments. You will mentor and inspire other designers, contribute to innovative workflows, and help shape design practices across the organization. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact on products used in critical industries while working fully remotely.
Accountabilities:
- Lead hands-on UI/UX design for SaaS products, including digital twin, simulation, and operational dashboards.
- Drive design projects from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and final visual execution.
- Maintain, scale, and evolve the enterprise design system to ensure consistent and high-quality user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams to align designs with business strategy.
- Mentor designers and contribute to raising organizational design standards.
- Participate in cross-functional projects beyond core product lines as needed.
- Promote adoption of AI-enhanced and data-driven design tools and workflows to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Requirements
- 14+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX design, including enterprise SaaS or software products.
- Demonstrated experience in design leadership with a strong portfolio of product design projects.
- Hands-on experience designing digital twin applications, simulations, operational dashboards, or data-intensive software.
- Proficiency with wireframing and design tools such as Figma, Axure, or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, React, Angular) to inform design and interaction decisions.
- Experience in agile product development environments.
- Excellent visual design skills and user-centered design expertise.
- Master’s degree and AI or generative design tool experience are desirable but not required.
